Pharmacy Department Accrues Wide Range of Benefits in Mobile Point of Care Pilot

The Macclesfield District General Hospital, part of the East Cheshire NHS Trust, introduced a Mobile Point of care pilot designed to evaluate the business value of using Mobile Clinical Assistants, based on IntelĀ® mobile clinical assistant reference design, to better manage pharmacy workflows. One result: 27 per cent reduction in the number of missed doses and improving both patient safety and quality of care. Read more about the pilot in this case study.
