Climate Savers Computing Initiative (CSCI), a non-profit organization founded in 2007 by a group of leading technology companies and the World Wildlife Fund, has a mission to reduce global CO2 emissions from computing by 54 million tons per year by 2010. This short video features Lorie Wigle, president of CSCI and General Manager of Intel’s EcoTechnology Program Office. In the video, she explains how CSCI seeks to promote computing energy efficiency thereby reducing computing CO2 emissions. CSCI uniquely brings together both computer manufacturers and computer users to encourage a market transformation around computer energy efficiency and power management.
