Companion Worksheet for Using an IT Business Value Program to Measure Benefits to the Enterprise

This companion worksheet for the IT business value program helps emphasize the importance of value measurements for each IT project. Even if project funding is secured, companies need a consistent tool to financially track results until project completion. This template helps verify the accuracy of the original forecast used to justify the project. Both finance and IT experts contributed to this template that includes value dials (e.g., headcount productivity, time savings) and the associated calculations.

The business value index demo indicates that one can dowlload the BVI Tool. However on requesting the download of the BVI Tool the response is that it cannot be found. Can anyone help me find a copy of the tool?

    Thanks in advance

    Derek et al,
The companion worksheet posted here (http://ipip.intel.com/go/7623/companion-worksheet-for-it-business-value-program/) is the replacement for the now out-of-date BVI tool.

    Thanks,
    PremierIT

Thanks for the feedback. Am not sure whether the new work sheet is as comprehensive a tool as the original BVI tool which seemed to address some of the “soft” benefits better. This one seems far more focussed on the hard metrics… but then I am only comparing with what I saw on the demo. If anyone has a copy of the old BVI tool it would be appreciated if I could get a copy – presumably through this facility at Intel Premier…. thanks in advance

The new business value worksheet is a direct replacement for the old one.
    Thanks, Premier IT
