Bottoms Up or Tops Down? Intel Roadmap Delivers Increasing Capabilities for IT

Although some of the products have been announced since this article was written, it still offers an interesting point/counterpoint on the Intel product roadmap from two Intel strategists who approach it from opposing directions.  Is it the industry trends like virtualization, energy-efficient computing and cloud computing that are driving technology development?
