In my last column, I explained how I put together three focus groups of “Gen Next” employees. My goal was to better understand what they expected from their jobs, as well as what they expected from their leaders. The responses they gave were insightful and, at times, surprising. They also tended to fall into three general categories:
• What I need from my leaders.
• How I expect to interact.
